Lenovo, who was fairly recently involved with a scandal regarding pre-installed backdoor software installed in the motherboards of one of their laptop lines, are working towards a reinvention of themselves.
Newest model in the line of IdeaPad series, Flex 2-in-1, is being released this June already, and the three variants will aim at a key demographic of college kids, whose main interests include both studying and gaming. The machines will come in several colors, including purple, white, silver, blue and black. The prices are set to start at $440, with the 17″ screen models starting at $490. The top of the line IdeaPad will have a i7 chipset and up to 16 GB of RAM and 2 TB of hard drive space.
The most expensive models will be the “S” versions, “S” meaning “slim” in this context. They will offer a Full HD screen, USB-C port, i7 processor and 512 GB of storage with 16 GB of RAM. These will have limited color variety, but look sturdy and promising.
Finally, Y920 will come prepared for VR, with a 17″ screen, i7 processor, Nvidia GTX 1070 GPU, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of space. The price of this beast starts at $2700.Thanks for subscribing to our newsletter! We guarantee you won’t be disappointed!
